Aerial acrobatics combines all of Jessica's favorite things: creative movement, art, music, and dance. From the moment she started, Jessica has been seriously studying and training in several disciplines of the art, winning an award in her first aerial competition in the Theatrics and Artistry Division during only her 3rd year of training. Jessica has trained with countless professional aerialists and Cirque du Soleil artists from around the world in the disciplines of specific apparatuses, flexibility/contortion training, and strength & conditioning techniques. She is now a professional aerial trainer and performer who owns her own aerial studio in Lexington, KY.
Jessica performs aerial acts at charity & corporate events, festivals, nightlife entertainment, weddings, and has been cast in several dance theatre productions such as 'Cabaret' and 'Romeo & Juliet'. She performs in the disciplines of aerial silks, aerial cube, aerial hoop (lyra), corde lisse, and vertical pole which include aerial dance, acrobatics & contortion.
Jessica graduated from the University of Kentucky with a Bachelor's Degree in Special Education, working as a teacher for 3 years after graduating. But Jessica always knew that teaching and performing aerial arts was how she wanted to spend the majority of her time. She is able to apply her skills as a teacher as an aerial trainer and coach today. The fun she has teaching and accomplishing new feats in the air make everyday one she looks forward to.
